This is a Crystal Claddagh Ring.  It is a sterling silver ring with a heart-shaped Swarovski crystal in the center. The crown has two small clear Swarovski crystals. There are 5 different options for the color of the heart crystal: Light Siam (Red), Aurora Borealis, Astral Pink, Fuchsia and and Clear.

Meaning of the Crystal Claddagh Ring

The Claddagh Ring has a vivid past. It originated from a small fishing village named Claddagh, near Galway in Ireland. The legend says Corsairs captured Richard Joyce at sea. They sold him into slavery to Moors. He learned how to make it while working for a goldsmith in captivity. He worked in that capacity for 14 years before an ambassador freed him. After that, he returned to Claddagh. The legend says that the hands represent friendship. The heart represents love. Finally, the crown represents loyalty. The original Claddagh Ring was likely plain, with no crystals. Since then, many people created many different versions that include gems, crystals and diamonds. We have a version with no crystals available here.

Finally, There are four ways a Claddagh ring can be worn. First, if a person wears it on the right hand pointed away, it means they are single and looking for love. Second, if a person wears it on the right hand pointed towards them, it means they are in a relationship. Third, if they wear it on the left hand pointed away, it means they are engaged. Fourth, if they wear it on the left hand pointed towards themselves, it means they are married.

The different colors of the crystals also have different meanings. Here are some common ones:

Fuchsia – Royalty, creativity, romance

Clear – Purity, faithfulness, trust
