Meaning of the Septagram Necklace

The Septagram is a seven-pointed star. Another name for it is the heptagram.

The Septagram has been used to represent things that have seven parts or steps. It has roots in ancient astronomy, when seven “wandering stars” were discovered. This is also where the names of the seven days of the week come from. In addition, seven is a very important number in the Bible. Finally, the Septagram is also a symbol in alchemy. There were seven main steps in the alchemical process. Similarly, there is such a thing as spiritual alchemy, which also has seven steps. There were also seven basic metals in alchemy that also corresponded to the seven wandering stars.
